Lake Toba in North Sumatra
Lake Toba is a lake located in urban areas in the province of North Sumatra Berastagi.
Lake Toba is a volcanic lake with a length of 100 kilometers and 30 kilometers wide, is above the plateau approximately 800 m above sea level which is a national asset ranked into 2 (two) as the world's largest lake and the lake is the largest lake in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
toba lake has a natural beauty that is very beautiful and there is no duanya.Danau is surrounded by hills covered with pine forests and blue colored water.
to get there, Distance from the city of Berastagi is located in North Sumatra province is about 40 km and can use a small size and large vehicles.
In the middle of this lake there is a volcanic island called Samosir Island. Lake Toba has long been an important tourist destination in North Sumatra, Bukit Lawang and Nias apart and many domestic and foreign tourists who come on this lake toba.
Lake Toba is also contained in the famous legend surrounding communities and throughout Indonesia.
